Position SummaryThe Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority (RTAA) is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly organized Manager of Supply Services to lead and manage our supply chain and logistics operations. Under the general direction of the Director of Contracts and Procurement, this position is responsible for the efficient and effective management of stored materials, equipment, inventory, and courier services for RTAA.This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the secure, accurate, and timely handling, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies. Initial salary placement will be based upon experience and qualifications. Employee benefits include 100% employer paid contributions to the Nevada PERS retirement program; 100% employer paid health insurance for the employee; paid vacation and sick leave; 14-paid holidays per year; and tuition reimbursement - just to name a few!Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise, schedule, train, and evaluate Supply Services staff, including hiring, promotion, discipline, and discharge.Develop and implement standard operating procedures for material handling and inventory control.Oversee receiving, storage, and organization of materials, ensuring space optimization and inventory accuracy.Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate records of material movements and usage.Support Contracts & Procurement team with purchasing operations and ensure timely delivery of materials.Manage RTAA's asset verification program and coordinate with Finance on ERP updates and audit requirements.Ensure proper disposal of surplus property and maintain compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations.Collaborate with the CFO to ensure vehicles, buildings, and equipment are properly insured and removed when disposed.Manage incoming fleet vehicles including registration, licensing, insurance, and delivery logistics.Assist in development of warehouse equipment maintenance programs and annual budgets.Serve as alternate Logistics Chief on RTAA's Emergency Response Team, coordinating support during emergency events and exercises.Minimum QualificationsExperience:Minimum of five (5) years of experience in supply chain and logistics.At least three (3) years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.Education:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.Skills & Knowledge:Experience with computerized purchasing/inventory systems and procurement processes preferred.Strong organizational and communication skills, with proven ability to lead teams and improve processes.Licensing & CertificationsPossession of a valid Driver's License and the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge.Certification in material handling equipment (e.g., forklift) is highly desirable.Must be obtained within three (3) months of hire if not already held.How to apply: Click on the ‘Apply Now' button to fill out the short Work History Questionnaire and/or upload your detailed resume on or before September 28, 2025.
