We look for people who thrive in a work environment that is highly collaborative, dynamic, and creative.DESCRIPTION:Candidates will be responsible for documenting the mechanical design (including configuration, prototype and test) of antennas and RF systems for aerospace and military applications. These applications include, but are not limited to, hypersonic, low-observable, and/or electronic warfare platforms. Throughout the design process, candidates will be expected to collaborate closely with internal, supplier, and/or customer teams to ensure the performance, manufacturability, and timeliness of system designs. Maverick RF places a significant emphasis on development through rapid, iterative analysis and prototyping. As such, candidates can expect to support both prototype/test and detailed final design documentation. As a technical representative of Maverick RF, candidates must be capable fostering strong internal, supplier and customer relationships while accurately and succinctly documenting designs with the appropriate level of rigor for fabrication and assembly.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Interfacing with suppliers and external customers as technical representative of Maverick RF
  • Generating solid models, creating detailed drawings, releasing designs in PDM
  • Selecting materials and parts (fasteners, RF connectors, etc.) and assembly methods.
  • Performing detailed tolerance stack analyses
  • Generating technical memorandums and reports to support data packages, peer reviews, and external customer reviews
  • Preparing technical charts and representing the organization in design reviews and outside contracts
  • Researching internal and published sources for innovative solutions
  • Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • AAS degree in Mechanical Engineering Graphics or related STEM field.
  • Experience with computer aided design (CAD) modeling and drafting (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Knowledge of drafting standards (e.g., ANSI Y14.100) and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) (e.g., ANSI Y14.5)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD and Special Access Program (SAP) security clearances
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience designing military aircraft, subsystems, or components in a DoD environment
  • Experience in all stages of product development from conceptualization through development and into production
  • Experience leading the detailed design and complete documentation thereof in formally released (e.g., ANSI/EIA-649 compliant) drawings, bills of materials, specifications, and reports
  • Active Secret or Top Secret / SCI security clearance

Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Maverick RF Solutions considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits:Healthcare stipend, 401(k) match, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Holidays.
