We invite you to apply to be a part of our University community!Job DescriptionThe Department of Accounting has a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor available beginning Fall 2026.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate students, conduct scholarly and applied research, and engage in service related activities. The teaching load is 4/2 with two or three course preps in an academic year (maximum of two in a single semester). The teaching schedule is structured to facilitate more time for research than is possible with a standard 3/3 load. Candidates will teach both face-to-face and asynchronous online sections.Minimum Qualifications
  • Candidates must have earned a doctorate in Accountancy (PhD or DBA). However, applicants nearing completion of the doctorate (ABD) may be considered. For continued employment in the tenure-track position, the candidate's doctorate must be completed by 8/15/2026
  • Evidence of teaching excellence
  • Evidence of scholarly achievement
  • Candidates will be considered from any area of teaching/research emphasis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Candidates with professional accounting experience, prior teaching experience, and/or prior research activity will be preferred
