Reports To: Executive Chef‍ Position Overview:Sandy Cove Ministries is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to help lead the kitchen team, ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation, and contribute to an outstanding dining experience for guests.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and train kitchen staffPlan and prepare weekly and special event menusOrder food and supplies on a weekly basisOversee food preparation and presentation to ensure qualityCook meals and accommodate special dietary requestsOversee dining room serviceMaintain cleanliness and food safety standardsParticipate in scheduling, inventory, and day-to-day operations✅ Requirements:2+ years of experience in food service leadershipCulinary certificate or equivalent kitchen experienceSERV Safe or similar food handling certificationStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work efficiently, independently, and under pressureBasic technology and organizational skills❤ What We Value:A personal relationship with Jesus ChristA heart for serving others and aligning with Sandy Cove's mission: helping people connect with God and each other
