Electrical / PLC Technician (Maintenance Technician)Location: Elkhart, IN | Shift: Mon-Fri, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. (some overtime & call-outs)Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical / PLC Technician to join our Elkhart team. This role is primarily focused on hands-on electrical troubleshooting and maintenance in an established facility with older-but reliable-equipment. While most of the plant is not automated today, they are planning significant upgrades, and this position will play a key role in moving them forward.What you'll do
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues on production equipment
  • Install and support equipment projects and upgrades
  • Troubleshoot and support PLCs (Allen Bradley CompactLogix, MicroLogix) and basic automation systems
  • Support robotics and automation programming as upgrades are introduced
What they're looking for
  • 5+ years of electrical maintenance experience in manufacturing
  • 3+ years working with PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and blueprints
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills are a plus
  • Project management experience is a bonus (vendor coordination, upgrades)
