Hours: 6am - 2:30pm
Pay Rate for I: $20.50/Hr.
Pay Rate for II: $22.00/Hr.

MACHINE OPERATOR I: This entry-level position is in a machine shop environment and requires a team-oriented individual to assist in setting up and operating CNC machinery. You will also support various processes to produce parts for the aerospace industry. Essential Responsibilities: Machine Operator I Maintain proper condition of measuring instruments
Maintain proper cutting conditions on machining centers
Meet or exceed required output hours
Ability to learn how to set equipment/machinery for production.
Monitors operation of machinery or equipment
Determines whether materials or products meet standards
Performs other duties as required and available for overtime as necessary. Skills Required: Machine Operator I Ability to learn how to read and interpret engineering drawings
Ability to read and understand basic work instructions for product fabrication
General knowledge, skills, and understanding with hand and power tools to include, rotary tooling, sanding devices, manual deburring tools, wrenches, etc.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn and utilize inspection tools to include calipers, tape measures, pin gauges etc.
Basic mechanical knowledge.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Basic Shop Math Skills
Basic PC skills for data entry, timecard and production time entries
Prior experience in machine shop environments preferred.
MACHINE OPERATOR II: Machine Operator II This mid-level position is in a machine shop environment and requires a team-oriented individual to assist in setting up and operating CNC machinery. You will also support various processes to produce parts for the aerospace industry. Essential Responsibilities: Machine Operator II Maintain proper condition of measuring instruments
Maintain proper cutting conditions on machining centers
Meet or exceed required output hours
Sets equipment/machinery to required settings
Monitors operation of machinery or equipment
Determines whether materials or products meet standards
Performs other duties as required and available for overtime as necessary. Skills Required: Machine Operator II Read and interpret engineering drawings
Ability to read and understand basic work instructions for production processes.
Skills and understanding with hand and power tools to include rotary tooling, sanding devices, manual deburring tools and pneumatic handheld tools.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Basic mechanical knowledge.
Proficiency with precision measuring and fixed gauge equipment (micrometers, calipers, electronic height gauges, etc.)
Strong interpersonal skills.
Intermediate knowledge of shop math skills.
Basic PC skills for data entry, timecard and production time entries.
Prior experience in machine shop environments preferred.
