• Quoting & Estimating
• Prepare accurate, competitive quotes using tools like Fusion 360, CAM Assist, and Paperless Parts.
• Assess part complexity, tolerances, materials, and setup strategies.
• Part Planning & Job Setup
• Develop routing sheets and machining strategies.
• Plan tooling, workholding, and job flow.
• Machining Operations
• Operate and program CNCs including Haas VF2-SSYT and SMART NL2000ASY lathe.
• Lead complex setups and first-article runs.
• Team Supervision & Development
• Mentor junior machinists and apprentices.
• Maintain standards for safety, quality, and productivity.
• Workflow & Production Management
• Prioritize jobs and monitor WIP.
• Resolve bottlenecks and ensure documentation is complete.
• Process & Quality Improvement
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Collaborate on root cause analysis and corrective actions.

• 7+ years CNC machining experience (milling and turning)
• 3+ years in a leadership role in a precision job shop
• Proficient in Fusion 360 CAM, G-code, and ERP (JobBoss2 a plus)
• Knowledge of GD&T, prints, and metrology
• Experience quoting prototype and low-volume jobs
• Strong communicator and team leader with hands-on ability
