The ISS teacher will oversee students to ensure she/he completes assignments from teachers and will perform various record keeping activities.Responsibilities: Supervise students assigned to In-School Suspension(ISS). Monitor individual student progress while assigned to ISS. Provide concise written and/or oral communications to teachers and administrators about student's efforts on assignments and other pertinent information. Provide academic assistance for students as they complete their classroom work while in ISS. Consistently reinforce positive behavior and correct negative behavior. Hold students accountable for their actions. Provide guidance for students in appropriate behavior and interactions while at school. Communicate with classroom teachers regarding student progress.
