We are seeking a highly organised and skilled Superintendent to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations, execution, and completion of construction projects. You'll work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Projects include big box retail, automotive and grocery construction.
  • Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for big box retail like automotive and grocery stores.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and labor to ensure efficient project progression.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project schedules and work with the project manager to adjust time lines as necessary.
  • Conduct daily site inspections and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with internal teams, clients, and contractors.
  • Ensure proper materials, tools, and equipment are available to meet project needs.
  • Track progress and report project status, including any delays or changes, to the project manager.
  • Enforce safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.

  • 4+ years of previous experience working with a General Contractor
  • Bachelor's Degree a plus
  • Experience in both ground up and interior construction
  • Prior experience in big box retail builds like automotive and grocery stores
  • Must have experience running projects from start to finish
  • Strong software and technology skills is a plus
  • Able to communicate and be organised
  • Time Management Skills - making sure everything is on time and completed thoroughly
  • Experience managing teams is a plus
  • Up to date on the Construction Market and the newest technology
  • Available for National Travel
