
Assistant Project Manager

- Overall management of the project
- Work with leadership to understand, evaluate, develop, and execute the scope of work
- Solicit, receive, and approve proposals from subcontractors to perform work within budget
- Manage, support, and assist job crews
- Work with job crews and management to resolve problems in a prompt and effective manner
- Fill in as needed when additional responsibilities/tasks need to be completed, including physical labor
- Create and maintain job activity paperwork and jobsite inventories
- Maintain a daily log of conditions, activities, communications, and notable events
- Prepare reports, documentation, and other job-related administrative documents
- Ensure the quality and safety of work being performed is up to industry and company standards
- Report all job site accidents to safety and leadership
- Proactively monitor and provide updates when there is a risk of a project not meeting expected budget, gross profit margin, or schedule
- Manage receipt and approval of change orders
- Perform or ensure execution of daily job site safety meetings
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Arrange for permits as needed
- Accurately maintain daily reports, daily sign-in timesheets, equipment records, moisture maps, and material sheets
- Manage a defined scope of work and review opportunities for change orders
- Assist with creating a project schedule
- Issue work orders to subcontractors and manage their scope of work/change orders
- Perform billing reviews to ensure accuracy of data entered
- Ability to respond 24/7
- Relevant leadership experience
- 2+ years of experience in the restoration/construction industry, with experience/knowledge in water, flood, fire, smoke, mold, asbestos, and rebuild remediation
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Degree preferred
- Valid driver's license required
