  • Perform routine daily inspections of plant machinery and equipment, identifying potential issues before they escalate.
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks on various industrial equipment, including conveyors, pumps, and presses.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components, bearings, gearboxes, chains, and sprockets.
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including cylinders, valves, and lines.
  • Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, and equipment manuals to facilitate repairs.
  • Conduct general fabrication tasks, including basic welding and torch cutting, for machine modifications or repairs.
  • Assist with the installation, alignment, and commissioning of new machinery.
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to document work performed and track parts usage.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all safety protocols, especially Lockout/Tagout procedures, during all maintenance activities.
  • Support general facility maintenance and upkeep as needed.
Recommended Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Millwright or in a similar industrial maintenance role.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with industrial machinery.
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Basic welding and torch cutting skills.
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance concepts and practices.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
  • Commitment to working safely and following established procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Journeyman Millwright certification or equivalent trade qualification.
  • Experience with industrial rigging and hoisting.
  • Basic understanding of CNC machine operation or maintenance principles.
  • Proficiency with CMMS software for work order management.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Possession of personal hand tools.
