We are seeking a highly motivated Claims Consultant to join our team. This position is responsible for investigating and managing commercial marine claims. The ideal candidate will be proficient in coverage analysis, first and third-party liability investigations, and loss control evaluation. The role may also involve collaboration with litigation management and coordination with both coverage and defense counsel.Major Duties and Responsibilities:Investigate and resolve Marine Claims (including MGL, P&I, Hull, Boat Dealers, Contractors, etc.)Support clients in timely reporting of marine claims to their trading partnersHandle complex and/or catastrophe-related marine property claimsManage assets to ensure prompt recovery from insurersAssist clients with year-end collateral funding in line with regulatory requirementsRequirements:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in insurance/reinsuranceMinimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience; Property and Marine GL experience preferredStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to interact effectively with internal teams and external clientsMust hold or be able to obtain required state adjuster licensesProficient in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace tools
