Export Supply Chain Coordinator

- Physical attendance five days per week in office located at Irving, TX.
- Communicates regularly with plant operations team at a number of location regarding rail & container shipment status updates.
- Communicates with team members regarding customer requests and claims.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation including bills of lading, USDA certificates, commercial invoices, and country-specific documents required for international shipments of protein meals.
- Liaises between data entry in contracting system (Oracle), plant personnel at several locations throughout the United States, logistics teams, and customers located throughout Latan America & Asia to ensure all information is received and customer's requirements are understood.
- Provides shipment details and documentation to customers, in accordance with the normal cadence for each country and frequent ad hoc requests.
- Update documentation according to customer requests, free of error.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to the status of documents, ensuring clear and timely communication.
- Accurately input shipping data from commercial invoices, bills of lading, and packing lists for documentation.
- Serve as liaison between clients, freight forwarders, oceans freight carriers, and government agencies.
- Resolve documentation or filing errors as needed, to ensure our exports are shipped on time.
- Perform other related tasks assigned to support the efficient operation of the export documentation team.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agricultural Economics or related field is preferred.
- Drive, determination, disciplined self-starter, and goal and results oriented.
- Above average computer skills in a networked environment with knowledge of MS Office products.
- Must have and be able to maintain a driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Proven track record in data management with 2 to 4 years of experience in utilization of business enterprise software (Oracle preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agricultural Economics or related field is preferred.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Spanish. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business documents. Ability to listen and communicate effectively with customers/clients and employees in an effort to carry out responsibilities or respond to common inquiries from customers/clients, trade groups, or member for the business community and public. Ability to develop presentations to be delivered to groups and management.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts like addition, subtraction, multiplication, or division and to do this using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to interpret graphs and diagrams.
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, mathematical or diagram form and develop a plan of action to follow those instructions.
