
Systems Engineer

- Provide technical support for existing OT and control systems across manufacturing processes.
- Support and monitor HMI/SCADA systems to ensure optimal manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, IT, and production staff, for seamless system integration and operation.
- Work with external systems integrators during MES installation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OT/Control Systems, SCADA, and MES to minimize downtime.
- Integrate process equipment with MES and SCADA platforms as needed, ensuring data accuracy and real-time communication.
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and maintenance for optimal performance and security.
- Ensure cybersecurity and network segmentation of control systems in collaboration with Corporate IT.
- Participate in commissioning, validation, and upgrade projects for new equipment or control systems.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and standard operating procedures.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
- 5+ years of experience with control systems and/or MES.
- Familiarity with PLC code, particularly Rockwell and Siemens.
- Proficient in MES, SCADA, and PLC programming.
- Strong project management and project engineering skills.
- Experience with smart manufacturing, digital transformation, IoT, and IIoT.
- Ability to work autonomously with a proactive approach.
- 10+ years of experience with control systems and/or MES is desirable.
