These automated inspections solutions keep humans out of harm's way, enhance system reliability, reduce operating costs and increase asset performance.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Software Engineer with full-stack capabilities and experience in UI/UX design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in React/TypeScript, Python, Redis, MongoDB, and Docker. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable, and user-friendly applications. This is a full-time, in-office position based in West Palm Beach, Florida, with flexibility for periodic work-from-home days.Levatas offers competitive benefits, including 401k matching, a 50% share of medical plans, a flexible work schedule, and unlimited paid time off after 2 years of employment.Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain web applications using React/TypeScript for the frontend and Python for the backend.
  • Design and implement UI/UX improvements to enhance user experience.
  • Work with databases such as Redis and MongoDB.
  • Deploy and manage applications using Docker.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer with full-stack capabilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in git, merging, branch management, and merge conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in React/TypeScript and Python.
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks.
Preferred Skills
  • Software Engineering augmented with AI (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, etc)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Configuring & Running GitHub Actions
  • Bootstrap CSS and Bootstrap CSS3 Flexbox & Grids.
  • Experience with Redis and MongoDB ideal.
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
