- Field Leadership: Manage all daily site operations including supervision of subcontractors, coordination of construction activities, enforcement of safety protocols, and execution of the project schedule.
- Schedule Management: Develop and maintain detailed look-ahead schedules; drive progress to meet critical milestones and proactively resolve conflicts and delays.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is performed to high standards, in accordance with plans, specifications, building codes, and owner requirements.
- Safety Oversight: Enforce site safety policies and maintain compliance with OSHA and company standards; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, architects, consultants, and client representatives to maintain alignment and ensure clear communication.
- Inspections & Reporting: Coordinate with local authorities for inspections and approvals; maintain daily logs, safety documentation, and progress reports.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in commercial construction field leadership. With proven experience in adaptive reuse projects being desirable but not essential.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of all elements of commercial construction including structural, MEP, and architectural coordination in retrofit or hybrid new/old environments.
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, submittals, and technical documents.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven experience with project manager software (Constructware, P6, Timberline, etc.).
