
Receptionist and Switchboard

- Greet the public in a professional and friendly manner.
- Distribute name badges to visitors, temporary employees, and others.
- Schedule meeting rooms for all departments.
- Answer and transfer calls from across the United States.
- Participate enthusiastically in company and community service events.
- Perform light administrative duties.
- Provide PC support and administrative assistance as needed.
- Act as a model for the company's Vision, Values, and Mission.
- Build professional relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Maintain timely updates for:
- Company phone and speed dial lists
- Brag Board
- Company Calendar
- Update the automated messaging center daily.
- Assist Administration and other teams with various tasks (e.g., envelope labels, compiling manuals).
- Order, maintain, and distribute promotional items for the Promotional Store.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1+ years of prior switchboard experience.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Flexibility and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Clear and professional verbal communication.
- Typical office environment with adequate lighting, ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise.
- Diverse work assignments requiring interpretation, comprehension, and application of complex material and instructions.
- Some physical effort required:
- Mostly sedentary work
- Occasional walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects up to 50 lbs. (e.g., papers, books, files, small parts)
- Moderate dexterity required for regular use of tools such as calculators, keyboards, and other office equipment.
