- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and respond to repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and building systems
- Maintain, operate, and repair HVAC systems, electrical distribution equipment, and plumbing systems
- Conduct facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting conditions that impact client occupancy and operations
- Handle interior and exterior building repairs including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing systems, and lighting
- Respond effectively to all emergency situations and after-hours building activities as required
- Prepare and submit summary reports to management with recommended actions based on findings
- Study and operate building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and other building-related equipment
- Maintain compliance with all safety procedures and State, County, or City codes and regulations
- Attend periodic training seminars and complete other assigned operational tasks
- Universal EPA 608 Certification • Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering with strong background in packaged HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment repair and maintenance
- Valid state driver's license • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft. ladders
- Ability to perform on-call duties and overtime as required
- Knowledge of overall MEP/HVAC system design and application
- Experience managing work orders and utilizing CMMS technology
- Experience working in a service-related role specific to commercial facilities
