The Senior Quality Engineer plays a vital role within the quality team, ensuring that products and processes align with the company's Quality Management System (QMS). This position requires close collaboration with key customers to address non-conformances, determine root causes, and partner across departments to develop and implement effective solutions that improve quality at its origin.
  • Involved in developing quality control policies and evaluates production limitations
  • Ability to work cross functionally to resolve quality issues
  • Work directly with OEM manufacturers to discuss product quality
  • Maintain and continuously the develop the companies QMS
  • Assist with creating and maintaining quality documentation
  • Support first article inspection, approve materials, final product assemblies by confirming specifications, conduct visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
  • Ability to troubleshoot CMM programming
  • Understanding of root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action
  • Read and interpret blueprints and customer specifications to establish correct inspection criteria
  • Working knowledge of NADCAP regulations

  • 5+ years experience in quality within manufacturing
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Knowledgeable of Gage R&R and other calibration methods
  • Understanding of AS9100 or IATF 16949
  • Able to read and interpret customer GD&T blueprints
  • Experience within aerospace preferred
