We focus on our mission in the communities we serve.Our Presque Isle office has a 32-hour position available for an LPN. The hours for this position will be 4, 8-hour shifts. Every Other weekend and rotating Holidays.PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION: To maintain the patient with the need of nursing care in his/her home and to maximize functions through the use of support, teaching and skilled services. Nursing intervention is under the supervision of an RN and in conjunction with the physician and written plan of care.EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited NLN School for Practical Nursing. Satisfactory completion of approved course in pharmacology.EXPERIENCE: 2 to 3 years of recent acute care nursing or equivalent experience. Community health nursing experience desirable.LICENSURE: Current LPN license in the State of Maine & CPR Certification.JOB LOCATION: The majority of work is performed in the home setting with some work in an office setting. This position entails exposure to infectious diseases and considerable physical requirements including in and out of automobile, climbing stairs and lifting/transferring patients.OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Must have a current Maine Driver’s license.
  • Must provide proof of automobile insurance.
  • Must submit current LPN license every 2 years to Human Resources Dept. on or before expiration date.
  • Must re-certify in CPR every two years.
  • Must submit accurate timesheet on a weekly basis per Organization protocol.
