Responsibilities are performed in accordance with the age population served.Assist nursing staff with direct patient care including bathing, feeding, hygiene, ambulation, and vital signsPerform technical skills in line with patient comfort and care plansReport changes in patient condition to primary nurse promptlySupport monitoring equipment setup/removal and respond to call lightsCollect and transport specimens; retrieve medications per policyAid in patient admissions, discharges, and transfersMaintain accurate documentation of care, vital signs, intake/outputPerform clerical duties including visitor reception, supply stocking, charge tracking, and order communicationSupport safety, infection control, and cleanliness of patient care environmentTransport patients and assist with equipment and aseptic proceduresPerform additional duties as assignedWhat Sets BRG Apart:At Baton Rouge General, we are a community of compassionate, caring individuals who set the bar when it comes to healthcare excellence.
