The Regional Sales Manager is instrumental to business growth, role respects and manages business relationships with strategic accounts and distributors across the US.Our client is an OEM that manufactures unique, clear, inorganic, siloxane coatings to help extend the life expectancy of equipment and property and also contribute to the ease of maintenance of these surfaces, so cleaning costs are lowered.The non-ferrous metal corrosion coatings protect; mold & and mildew mitigation on numerous interior or exterior surfaces; energy savings on HVAC/R equipment; produce a stain-resistant, wet-look seal coat on concrete or decorative stone; sealing hard tile surfaces against staining, mildew growth, and burnishing.Duties:
  • This position will require calling on potential customers based on their apparent need for Products. This will include end users, potential Installers of the company’s products, and potential Distributors throughout the United States.
  • This individual will be working with our current customers (and on their behalf) to create interest and finalize a sale.
  • Must interact with existing clients to spur increased sales to ensure positive results and maintain a strong and sustainable future.
  • Will contact existing customers whose sales may be falling to better understand the reason why and determine best practices to bring sales up again.
  • This position revolves around the discussion of our clients’ products to be used in multiple capacities within the target organization(s) as well as working diligently to have products specified within markets our coatings perform in.
  • This person will report directly to the General Manager.
Qualifications:
  • This individual must be self-motivated, responsible, and have Sales and Consulting experience working within the distributor and end-user markets. Preferably flooring and corrosion prevention, HVAC.
  • Must be well versed in communicating with corporate clients, discussing sustainability, working with engineers and specifiers, as well as companies that will stock and/or install our client’s products. Must be verbally skilled and able to make presentations to multiple levels of staff.
  • The ideal candidate would have some experience in Industrial Coatings, Floor Coatings, Corrosion Prevention, or a similar background
  • Travel is required and as needed.
