Job Location: Corporate IndianapolisPRIMARY PURPOSE:The primary role for this position includes include working closely with our partners\customers and IS management to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources and timeframes. This may also include coordinating budget\financial activities for projects. The project coordinator will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries.Ultimately, the Project Coordinator’s duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:The responsibilities include, but not limited to:Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and informationBreak projects into doable actions and set timeframesLiaise with our business customers, IS management and vendors to identify and define requirements, scope and objectivesAssign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule managementMake sure that the business customer’s needs are met as projects evolveAnalyze risks and opportunitiesFacilitate project procurement managementMonitor project progress and handle any issues that ariseAct as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participantsWorks with the business customer, vendor and IT constituents to eliminate blockersUse tools to monitor working hours, plans and expendituresCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reportsEnsure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance testsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentFamiliarity of basic IS Infrastructure & Networking is neededWorking knowledge of Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management tools is beneficial for management of work and understanding processes.Should possess good analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skillsProven work experience as a Project Coordinator or similar roleExperience in project management, from conception to deliveryAn ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plansSolid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-managementStrong client-facing and teamwork skillsFamiliarity with risk management and quality assurance controlWorking knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar softwareBS in Business Administration or related field
