Job Description:OverviewThe Revenue Integrity Coder collaborates with various departments within the organization - Health Information Management, Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Case Management. Understanding of the Chargemaster assists to streamline processes. Addresses claim edits daily related to NCDs, LCDs, CCI edits, Medicare and various payer guidelines. Maintains a vast knowledge of coding rules/regulations surrounding ICD-10-CM/PCS, DRGs, APCs, CPT, HCPCS. Utilizes AHA Coding Clinic, AMA CPT Assistant, AHA Coding Clinic for HCPCS, and Payer Specific Billing Guidelines. Applies E&M level services. Works efficiently within EPIC, 3M applications, NThrive.

LicensureCertified Professional Coder Or Registered Health Information Technician Or Registered Health Information Administrator Or Certified Coding Associate Or Certified Coding Specialist Required
EducationHigh School Diploma or Equivalent Other Required - And Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience2 Years Coding Required - And 4 Years Coding - Inpatient And/Or Coding - Outpatient Preferred
