- Performing and documenting QC checks on sealing and
- Supporting production areas on floor with isolating defects and giving disposition on
- Effectively tracking and passing down status of defects, holds and issues on the floor with samples at shift pass down to appropriate Plant personnel.
- Writing holds after effectively assessing level and magnitude of
- Organizing and tracking pick
- Making calls relative to specification whether product can be saved and whether equipment should be run relative to product condition.Performing Carton dimension testing on ACT III and working with tool and die to make adjustments to tooling setup as necessary.
- Operating specialized QA equipment to assess product quality including the COF (coefficient of friction tester), Digital micrometer, Taber stiffness tester, Straw Hole Punch tester, etc.
- Making disposition on defective rolls and doing board tests to see if board is in
- Tracking, isolating and holding defective roll stock and filing paperwork. May include calling and working with Pine Buff personnel to isolate defects.
- Filing Claims with Pine Bluff Mill on a monthly
- Pulling microbiological samples for FDA
- Report any injury or near miss to Team Leader immediately.
- Do not perform a duty that appears to be unsafe without consulting a Team Leader.
- Recognize hazards of the job and learn how to avoid them.
- Follow BJA's and SOPS.
- Observe all Safety Rules.
- Wear safety equipment and protective devices as required: steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, cut-gloves, harness, etc.
- Keep work area clean and uncluttered.
- Conduct safe behavior observation on a weekly basis, 4 a month are required

- Personally act with behaviors consistent with achieving and maintaining Safe Quality Foods Level 2 certification.
- Behavior in the facility, and on equipment, shall not compromise the food safety goals.
- Follow responsibilities for this job description on make ready, start up, or change over/line clearance procedure.
- Do not run unsafe product.
- Support the goal of producing a food safe product by following all programs, policies, SOPs as well as GMPs.
- Report and/or fix problem that creates a Food Safety Hazard.
- Place suspect product on precautionary hold.
- Attendance: Must have less than 6 occurrences (points + ISN) in the last 12
- Overall Evaluations: Must have an overall score of 80% for the past 12
- No written warnings or performance deficiencies on file for the past 12
- Must be able to work independently and think proactively with minimal daily
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and possess excellent follow-up skills with fine
- Must have strong computer Must know how to use Excel, Access and Word.
