This is a full-time opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in structural engineering and a passion for ensuring safety and code compliance across a range of building types.As part of this team, you'll conduct critical field inspections, perform structural condition assessments, and help generate code-compliant permit drawings. If you're looking to grow in a role that blends engineering precision with real-world application—and enjoy a supportive, collaborative team environment—this role may be the perfect fit.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct field inspections and threshold inspections of residential and commercial structures.Perform structural condition assessments and document findings with clarity and accuracy.Assist in the preparation of permit-ready plan sets and drawings based on site evaluations.Ensure compliance with Florida Building Code and threshold inspection requirements.Collaborate with engineers and CAD staff to support structural design and documentation needs.Maintain accurate records and reports to support permit submissions and project documentation.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural inspections.Minimum of 3 years of experience in threshold inspections.Attention to detail and ability to accurately document field conditions.Strong communication and observational skills.Preferred QualificationsEngineering Intern (EI) certification.Familiarity with Florida Building Code and threshold inspection procedures.Experience with structural reporting software and inspection tools.Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and engineering documents.This is a hands-on role in a collaborative environment where your contributions directly impact project safety and compliance.
