- 40 hours per week Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- No weekends or holidays
- Long-term contract with potential for extension
- Start date: October
- Open to local and travel physicians
- Previous IHS or government healthcare experience is a plus
- Minimum 2 years of primary care experience treating all ages
- Local providers are strongly encouraged to apply
- Deliver comprehensive primary care to American Indian and Alaska Native patients across the lifespan
- Perform physical examinations, review medical histories, and order diagnostic tests
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and treatments in alignment with IHS formulary guidelines
- Educate patients and families on preventive care and chronic disease management
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality, coordinated care
- Participate in quality improvement efforts and contribute to clinical documentation standards
- Maintain infection control and patient safety protocols
- Use the Patient Referred Care (PRC) process appropriately for referrals outside the facility

- Completion of a (3) year residency program in a primary care specialty such as Family Practice, Pediatrics or Internal Medicine.
- Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- Must be Board Eligible or Certified, Board certification in Family Medicine
- Must have current BLS, Basic Life Support certification
- Certification of Education - copy of diploma or transcripts
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program
- DEA license and eligibility to prescribe medication
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in family practice
- may require a current drivers license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Must be a US citizen living primarily in the United States
- Willingness to comply with all state and federal regulations regarding medical practice
- must be willing to undergo a federal background check
