- Design and implement advanced control system architectures including PLCs, PACs, and MES integration
- Lead complex automation projects from conception through customer acceptance
- Develop and maintain programming standards and code templates to optimize efficiency
- Create detailed electrical schematics and network diagrams for machine control systems
- Implement data collection systems and industrial network solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on large-scale projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical and electrical designers
- Provide technical expertise for project quotes and estimations
- Travel to customer sites for installations, commissioning, and training (25% travel)
- 5+ years of industrial automation and controls engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Extensive knowledge of PLC/PAC programming and industrial networking protocols
- Proven experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES) integration
- Strong project management and team leadership capabilities
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills and customer-facing experience
