Our Boston, MA office is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems for electrical engineering services provided by the company. Services include:
  • Lighting design
  • Low and medium voltage power and distribution design
  • Fire alarm design
  • Communication systems design
  • Low voltage controls/systems design
  • Contract administration
Job Requirements:
  • BSEE, E.I.T./P.E. Preferred
  • Minimum of three years of relevant experience
  • Familiarity with NEC, IESNA
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office
Job Description / Duties and Responsibilities:

The position requires an individual capable of independent work and site investigation under the direction and supervision of a licensed Professional Engineer. The individual holding this position is responsible for the application of applicable electrical codes, statutes, calculations and/or standards of design required for the successful completion of a project. The electrical design services require a familiarity with the National Electrical Code as well as the IESNA lighting and application handbooks.

Client is a 200 + person consulting firm with 28 years in the business providing multi-disciplinary design, construction, and bridge inspection services in the Northeast Mid-Atlantic region. Headquartered in Middletown, CT, AI has offices located in Boston, MA, NYC, Elmsford, NY, Richmond VA, Exton, PA and Cranston, RI.
