- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical issues on industrial machinery and production equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems, motors, controls, and associated components up to 480 volts.
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical conduit runs and construct electrical cabinets.
- Execute repairs and maintenance on induction furnaces, mold units, hydraulic systems, and overhead cranes (electrical and mechanical).
- Conduct thorough electrical testing procedures including Megging motors, testing sensors, and wiring 3-phase motors.
- Utilize PLC systems (e.g., Allen Bradley Rockwell Software, RS Logix, RS Linx) for troubleshooting and system optimization.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures and proper PPE usage.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Master Electrician Certification OR an Associate's Degree in Electrical/Electronics OR an Industrial Electricity Certificate (or equivalent coursework).
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on industrial electrical experience.
- Proven experience with low voltage and voltage controls up to 480 volts.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with PLC controls, including input/output logic.
- Demonstrated competency in various electrical testing procedures.
- Basic computer proficiency for work order entry and completion.
- Familiarity with Allen Bradley Rockwell Software (RS Logix 5, RS Logix 500, and RS Linx), PLC-5, and SLC500 hardware.
- Ability to obtain company licenses for forklift, articulating boom lift, and scissor lift operations.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to mentor junior team members.
