- Conduct student evaluations for speech, occupational and/or physical therapy in accordance with DCSD procedures and timelines;
- Provide Speech, Occupational, and/or Physical therapy through individual, small group, in-class and community models as directed by students' IEPs and 504 plans;
- Provide services to students based on IEP goals, objectives and time indicators;
- Maintain a daily log of services and hours worked;
- Maintain appropriate student files, which will remain the property of DCSD.
- Hold a valid Georgia license;
- Take Praxis II within three (3) months of employment;
- Hold a current Georgia State teaching certification in the area of speech language pathology, or apply for one within the first three (3) months of employment with DCSD County Schools;
- Apply for a permanent license prior to the expiration of the temporary license. This process shall begin three (3) months prior to the expiration date.
- Each Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Telepractitioner shall:
- Hold a valid Georgia license;
- Take Praxis II within three (3) months of employment;
- Apply for a permanent license prior to the expiration of the temporary license. This process shall begin three (3) months prior to the expiration date.
- A resume and two (2) professional references are also required.
