Penski Staffing a CorTech is a service-oriented staffing/recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We currently are hiring for a Convenience Store Operations Manager.


In this role, you are responsible for the overall operations of a convenience store. Operations Manager is responsible for executing and implementing all product sales and marketing plans are completed according to the timeline. Recruiting, developing, supporting and maintaining key team members (managers, supervisors, and associates). Create formal reports for Monthly and Quarterly Profit & Loss Statements.


We will know the Operations Manager is successful when the store achieves its revenue and net income goals according to budget and company goals.
We will know the Operations Manager is successful when they achieve customer satisfaction goals.
We will know the Operations Manager is successful when they achieve the volume requirements for key drivers and Average Spend Goals for all areas.


The Operations Manager must be able to communicate effectively to all members of the team the goals of the company and ensure they all understand their role in contributing to a successful company.
The Operations Manager must be able to communicate honestly and openly to engage in respectful conflict and commit when decisions are made.
The Operations Manager must develop their direct reports by holding direct report performance reviews at least annually and have frequent monthly discussions to ensure proper communication and execution of the company goals.


Education/Experience: At least a 2-year degree in Business Management from an accredited College or University and/or equivalent restaurant/c-store management experience.
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., lift/stock merchandise and stand for periods up to 8 hrs.
3-5 years of successful management experience where they made positive impacts.
Knowledge of general safety/sanitation regulations for food and beverage, including ServeSafe certification.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and various POS systems.
Must hold a Valid Driver’s License.
