Warehouse Team Member - Binning 1st Shift or 2nd Shift - SeasonalSilver Star Brands | Oshkosh, WI | Afternoons / 2nd Shift OR Mornings / 1st Shift | Seasonal

Overview:We are seeking a self-motivated, organized, and warehouse minded individual to work in the warehouse in the binning capacity. This role is essential to keep the line running by stocking shelves with available products. A summary of the binning role consists of unloading pallets of cartons, opening the cartons with a utility knife and placing them in the primary location to be picked when needed. A warehouse team member 3 will also be rotated into other operational roles as needed.Key Responsibilities:
  • Act and perform in a safe manner at all times
  • Ability to lift cartons up to 30 pounds on a regular basis, and on occasion up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable with a utility knife
  • Open cartons as needed, depending on the product, and make available to the line pickers
  • Help and assist in other areas, dictated by workflow needs

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Strong math, reading, and some computer skills
  • Must have the ability to comprehend, follow instructions, and to read and write in English
  • Requires extended periods of standing, and the physical manipulation of merchandise and materials by walking, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling and lifting
  • Must possess communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills to contribute to an empowered team environment
  • Willing to work in a continuous improvement environment through active participation in company training
  • Availability to work scheduled hours (afternoons / 2nd shift OR mornings / 1st shift)
