A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SENIOR PROJECT MANAGERAs a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for understanding and applying construction and company standards, quality control assurance, and enforcing Environmental, Health, and Safety policies. Your exceptional team management and planning skills are essential as you oversee daily operations, documentation, and communication for all assigned projects, ensuring the timely delivery of complete reports. You leverage your knowledge of project financials to monitor margins, progress, and costs, communicating any plan changes to leadership. Your transparency and proactive communication creates trusted relationships with leaders, strategic business partners, and key stakeholders. Your crisis management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills are put to the test while you simultaneously lead teams and work on large, unusual, and/or high priority projects.In addition to managing the day-to-day activities of the team, you audit ongoing projects for compliance, create project schedules, and research steps for permitting when necessary. You assist in soliciting bids and coordinating subcontractors and work with the team to ensure projects remain within budget and on schedule. With your consistent involvement, the team produces Daily Field Reports and effortlessly adheres to our company communication policy. You not only excel at ensuring project goals and objectives are met, you take the time to ensure the goals of each individual on the team are met by providing regular coaching, cross-training, and development opportunities. You have a natural ability to lead and motivate others which makes a difference to both our clients and team members.   • Maintain Quality Control Assurance to meet customer expectations
  • Team management and planning
  • Daily operations, documentation, and communication for all assigned projects
  • Oversee Contact & Change Order execution
  • Adherence to policies and procedures
  • Project financial reporting - contract amount, estimate budgeting, cost budgeting, WIP, Change Orders
  • Monitor job margins, progress, and costs; communicate plan changes to leadership
  • Crisis management and conflict resolution
  • Collections support
  • Manage on-call responses and dispatch technicians and strategic partners
  • Audit ongoing projects for compliance
  • Responsible for creating a project schedule
  • Work with Project Managers to understand, evaluate, and execute the Scope of Work
  • Assist Project Managers in soliciting bids & coordinating sub-contractors to perform work
  • Research steps for permitting, if necessary, and arrange for permits
  • Responsible for ensuring projects remain on budget and within specified profit margins
  • Ability to respond after hours and on weekends
Experience & Education:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the restoration/construction industry or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience in water, flood, fire, smoke, mold, and asbestos remediation
  • Safety courses as required for the position
  • Bachelor's degree or related experience
  • Valid driver's license required
