As the Technical and Process Manager, you will oversee trial management, technical support, quality, and process excellence at a leading protective materials manufacturer. You'll play a critical role in supporting operations, leading technical projects, collaborating with customers, and ensuring products meet stringent specifications. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader with deep plastics and/or paper manufacturing expertise who thrives in driving efficiency and continuous improvement.Responsibilities:
  • Plan, manage, and execute product trials, ensuring successful outcomes aligned with customer specifications.
  • Support sales through technical analysis, onsite customer visits, and new product collaboration.
  • Drive operations excellence by identifying opportunities for efficiency, CapEx projects, and equipment upgrades.
  • Oversee formulations, BOM approvals, and real-time ERP updates.
  • Provide quality support, including testing protocols, root cause analysis, and non-conformance resolution.
  • Lead technical unit KPIs, training, audits, 5S practices, and performance reviews.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, maintenance, quality, and sales to optimize product performance.

  • BS in Engineering with 5+ years of manufacturing experience (plastics, cast extrusion, or paper strongly preferred).
  • Strong technical/mechanical background with lean manufacturing experience.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborative leader with influencing skills.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and execution-driven with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proven ability to lead in high-growth, fast-paced manufacturing environments.
