- Serve as Senior Project Manager for CTDOT and Municipal clients
- Develop and manage client relationships
- Manage staff, and provide technical and professional development of staff
- Assist with strategy for expansion of transportation services throughout CT
- Monitor project financial performance
- Attend and lead meetings with clients, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to establish their needs and discuss/navigate transportation design/permitting challenges
- Develop and execute scope associated with transportation design projects
- Participate in professional organizations that promote relationships with clients and teaming partners
- Develop new project opportunities, and prepare and manage proposal submissions
- Managing large multi-disciplinary highway reconstruction projects, both traditional bid-build and alternate delivery (Design-Build, PPP, etc.)
- Assist with the production and delivering transportation projects through the construction administration phase
- Pre-design project planning and financial management
- Design of highways and roads including the development of geometric layout, grading, and drainage, working with utilities, and environmental permitting
- Development of technical design and specification documents

- Advanced knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures in highway engineering
- Advanced knowledge of state regulations governing transportation design
- Software: MicroStation Open Roads Designer, Civil3D a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field of study required
- Master's degree a plus and may substitute for 1 year of experience
- 11-15 years of professional transportation engineering experience, with at least 5 years of experience working with CTDOT required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required; CT PE preferred
