This executive-level leader will oversee multi-disciplinary engineering teams and guide the end-to-end product development process — from concept through launch — ensuring innovation, quality, and operational excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in complex, electro-mechanical product development within world-class manufacturing environments and a proven track record of leading engineering functions at scale. Responsibilities:Engineering s Product StrategyDefine and execute a comprehensive engineering and product development strategy aligned with long-term business objectives.Champion innovation and new technology integration to drive competitive advantage and customer value.Product Development LeadershipOversee development of complex systems involving mechanical, electrical, software, and control elements.Lead full lifecycle product development: concept, prototyping, testing, validation, launch, and sustainment.Drive modular design, common platform strategies, and design for manufacturability (DFM).Operational ExcellenceImplement robust engineering processes including design controls, DFMEA, Six Sigma, Lean Development, and Stage-Gate governance.Ensure all product designs meet performance, safety, compliance, and costCollaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless transition to production.Team Leadership s DevelopmentBuild and develop a high-performing engineering organization with clear roles, accountability, and succession planning.Mentor senior engineering leaders while fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.Cross-Functional s Executive EngagementPartner with Product Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support to align technical execution with market needs.Represent the engineering function in executive leadership forums and with external stakeholders as needed.
