Software Engineer - API Developer V (Onsite)
Primary Location: Cincinnati, OhioV-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Software Engineer - API Developer V for our premier client in Cincinnati, Ohio.Education and Experience »
  • Undergraduate degree in computer engineering, computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
Must Have:
  • Java (concurrency, memory management, performance tuning), Distributed System Design, Real Time processing, API Design, Messaging/Eventing (MQ, Kafka, etc.), Availability Engineering (SLAs, failover, degradation, etc.), Observability (Opentelemetry, Grafana, Splunk, etc.).
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
  • Full lifecycle application development.
  • Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages.
  • Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis.
  • Software modeling and simulation.
  • Front end graphical user interface design.
  • Software testing and quality assurance.
  • Support, maintain and document software functionality.
  • Maintain standards compliance.
  • Implement localization or globalization of software.
  • Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD).
  • Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.
  • Integrate software with existing systems.
  • Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation.
