Technical Facilities managed locations provide the physical infrastructure that supports our product ecosystem.Job SummaryWork closely with Tech facilities’ team to build, install, troubleshoot, and maintain critical equipment and infrastructure across DSS managed facilities. Takes the initiative to find the most elegant and efficient solutions to installation problems while completing assigned work within project timelines.ResponsibilitiesPerform all physical integration and critical data center infrastructure construction activities, from cable fabrication, labeling, installation, cable sorting and cable dress to rack assembly, and equipment (hardware) installation.Actively communicates project progress, conflicts, and potential blockers to supervisors and key department contacts as needed to ensure mission critical objectives are met.Maintain a high degree of organization within all Data Centers and project work sites, performing site cleanup, reporting on inventory usage, and maintaining Technical Facilities’ tools.QualificationsMinimum 5 years of related experienceHigh level proficiency in reading and understanding technical documentation with the ability to update and maintain accurate documentation across company platforms including Confluence and Google DriveProficiency with all data center testing equipment, including Fluke cable and fiber testersDetailed knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word and other essential office programsSelf-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative, with a willingness to learn new processes, policies and proceduresSkilled in the following termination types: RJ45, BNC, HDBNC, Din, Mini-DIN, RCABS in related technical field preferredAbility to stand for extended periods and lift 40+lbsThe hiring range for this position in Nevada is $107,300 to $143,800 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
