Compensation: $55–$70/hour, based on experience and skillsetPosition Overview:
We are seeking a full-time, licensed Occupational Therapist to support students across a full range of grade levels in the Emery, CA area for the 2025–2026 school year. This position is school-based and involves working with a diverse caseload of students with varying needs.Daily Responsibilities:Conduct assessments to evaluate students' fine motor, sensory, visual-motor, self-help, and functional skills within the educational environmentDevelop individualized goals and treatment plans in alignment with students' IEPsProvide direct therapy services focused on fine motor development, handwriting, self-regulation, sensory processing, visual-perceptual skills, and functional school participationAssist students with adaptive equipment and environmental modifications to increase access to curriculum and school routinesSupport students in developing independence in tasks such as dressing, toileting, feeding, and organizing materialsCollaborate with teachers and classroom teams to integrate OT strategies into daily instruction and classroom activitiesModel and train staff on sensory strategies, classroom modifications, and motor planning supportParticipate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and provide regular updates on student progressMaintain timely and accurate documentation of services, assessments, and communicationsParticipate in district-level collaboration and multidisciplinary team meetings as neededMaintain professional standards and comply with all FERPA, HIPAA, and district regulationsQualifications:Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programValid California Occupational Therapy LicenseNBCOT certificationPrior experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting preferredExcellent communication, organization, and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamCompensation:
- $55–$70/hour, depending on experience, education, and clinical expertise
- Full-time schedule aligned with the academic calendar (approximately 37.5 hours/week)
