- Forklift operation
- Receiving packaged raw materials and packages
- Staging packaged raw materials and supplies
- Preparing packaged goods shipments (stretch wrapping, staging, labeling, etc.)
- Loading/shipping packaged trailers
- Loading/shipping bulk liquid containers
- Basic SAP Transactions (label printing, shipping, receiving)
- Inventory cycle counting
- Hose connection and valve operations
- Cleaning equipment
- Routine non-craft maintenance
- Performing complete housekeeping duties
- Meeting regulatory requirements
- Work assignments
- Employee orientation & training
- Maintain daily records and reports
- Training and issuing permits
- Other tasks as assigned
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have a current, valid US driver’s license.
- Work overtime and holidays as needed and the ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation is an essential function of this position
- Must be able to work rotating shifts as required for this role
- A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
- 1 year of forklift experience preferred.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, chemical or similar is preferred.
- Computer Skills - Proficiency in Microsoft applications, such as Word and Excel, and have the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Communication - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Collaboration - Good interpersonal skills are required.
- Time management - It is essential that the individual should have the ability to prioritize their workload depending on significance and deadline
- Multi-tasking - Must have strong multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
- Leadership skills - inspire others and lead them through influence.
- Organizing, planning, and prioritizing work - A self-starter who can identify, prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks.
- English Language - Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Must be willing and able to work in such environments wearing safety equipment, such as earplugs, goggles, and steel-toed shoes.
- Must be willing and able to use respirators.
- Must be willing and able to work in such environments with frequent bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Must be willing and able to work in such environments working in tight or closed-in spaces.
- Must be willing and able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be willing and able to climb stairs/ladders and working high off the ground.
- This role does involve elevated work greater than or equal to four feet above the ground. Must be able to wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE), including harnesses with a total weight capacity of 300lbs.
