
Project Scheduler

- Prior to project start, assist in creating the baseline schedule for the project detailing the sequence of all work to be performed
- Interprets and reads detailed construction plans and specifications and develops a clear understanding of project scope
- Maintain the schedule for a project and identify and record the impact of work performed and not performed as scheduled
- Evaluate actual construction progress and provide regular schedule updates, including submission to the owner
- Interface with Operations and Subcontractors to discuss impact of work and resolution of problems
- Effectively communicates with the Contractor regarding all schedule/progress related matters and concerns
- Serve as technical advisor for the solution of difficult production problems
- Consult the appropriate project team members and estimating procedures as a means of ensuring that proper planning is completed prior to the commencement of work
- Travels to project sites as needed to evaluate schedule progress; reports status to the project and company leadership
- Assist Project Managers in creating short-term schedules, monitor such schedules to determine
- Impact on the project schedule, and help resolve any schedule problems
- Provide information as needed on the content, modification, or presentation of project schedule
- Maintains knowledge of Mastec’s company values and strategic plan
- Support published corporate policies
- Perform additional assignments per management’s direction

actions; addressing complaints and resolving problemsQualifications:
- 5 years of construction experience in the field
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field from an accredited institution. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Scheduling experience and/or training
- Experienced in Primavera P6
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to respond to common inquiries. Ability to effectively present information to management.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions furnished in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Compensation $100,000-$120,000/year, commensurate with experience
