This position will design mechanical systems for the Food Process industry.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings or computer-generated reports.
  • Assisting drafters in developing the structural design of products.
  • Using drafting tools or computer-assisted design software.
  • Conferring with other professionals to implement operating procedures.
  • Resolving product malfunctions or providing technical recommendations.
  • Recommending design modifications to eliminate product malfunctions.
  • Conducting research that tests or analyzes the performance of equipment.
  • Investigating product difficulties to diagnose faulty operation.
  • Testing models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess feasibility.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and committed to learn.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Autodesk AutoCAD proficiency is a plus.
  • Specific interest in a career in designing Utility-HVAC-Plumbing systems using the Design-Build approach.
  • Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
