Job DetailsJob Location: Corporate - 1st Floor - McAllen, TXSalary Range: UndisclosedDescriptionSUMMARYServes as key support for advisors to affluent and high net worth individual (HNWI) clients and is responsible for delivering a high level of client service to internal and external partners; personal networking (internal and external) and business development efforts. Coordinates client service in close partnership with other professionals on the team to meet the investment, trust, risk management, and planning needs of clients. Thrives in a team-based approach to deliver the full suite of wealth management solutions to client.Relies on the LSNB retail network to help generate client acquisition. Also focused on targeted prospecting and developing relationships with external referral sources such as existing clients, trust attorneys and tax accountants.ESSENTIAL DUTIESThe duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties, as assigned, including cross training across other departments, as necessary.
  • Partner with Relationship Managers for client servicing needs.
  • On-board new clients/relationships in a fast, effective, and courteous way.
  • Review and ensure the quality of account setup, daily account activity, and transaction coding.
  • Prepare new account packages for review and approval
  • Provide necessary maintenance /interface for trust accounting system reporting.
  • Assist with the completion of annual administrative account reviews.
  • Provide timely and professional telephone and email interactions with clients
  • Ensure compliance and proper documentation requirements are met, consistent with internal fiduciary policies and procedures regarding business acceptance, discretionary actions, and all other bank policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Frequent interactions with various operations teams within the Bank.
  • Participates in job specific training and other various Bank training programs, as necessary
  • Maintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policy
  • Maintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operations
  • Maintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML

  • Must be a self -starting team player with an associate degree in business or related field (bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Must sit and pass the Securities Industry Essentials exam within the first six months of hire.
  • Ability to create and maintain deep levels of trust, confidence and credibility with clients and their multi-generational family members
  • Self-motivated and passionate about serving clients and helping individuals reach their financial goals and objectives
  • Working knowledge of LSNB products, as well as insurance and investment product alternatives
  • Effective communication skills
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
ORGANIZATION
  • This position reports to the Director of Operations & Compliance
  • This position does not oversee other positions
TRAINING REQUIREMENTSAll employees are required to attend scheduled mandatory trainings and complete online regulatory compliance training courses applicable to their specific job function. In all situations, employees must ensure that their actions fully comply with all federal banking laws and regulations, including internal bank policies and procedures.
