- Troubleshooting hydraulic issues
- Component identification and replacement
- Pneumatics
- Reading schematics and understanding how systems work
- Troubleshooting problems
- General Maintenance responsibilities including:
- Welding and fabrication
- Painting, building maintenance, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning (limited)
- Preventative maintenance
- Other tasks as directed
- Must be able to read and understand written and verbal directions
- Must be able to interpret various measuring devices, have good shop math and mechanical abilities
- Have the ability to troubleshoot, in a timely manner, different types of problems with automated machinery, presses, furnaces, HVAC, some plumbing, and other types of equipment as needed
- Must be able to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment and repair it
- Must be able to read and understand mechanical drawings/blueprints and understand electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
- Must be able to weld, have good use of hand tools, power tools and test equipment
- Good team player, with displayed ability to work independently and safely
