This fast-paced team cares for patients who require extensive ADL assistance and complex medical attention. As RN on this team, you will assist fellow caregivers in ensuring every patient has the best treatment experience possible. You will gain hands-on experience in complex medical concerns and technologies, providing an unmatched advantage within the healthcare industry. A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00 a.m. -- 7:30 p.m. with every other weekend and 3 holidays per yearA caregiver who excels in this role will:
  • Provide nursing care based on patient-centered outcomes and standards of care based on current research and evidence-based practice.
  • Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
  • Safely administer patient care and treatments in accordance with the Standards of Safe Nursing Practice and institutional policy.
  • Safely administer medications in accordance with the Standards of Safe Nursing Practice and institutional policy
  • Involve the patient and family (or designee) in developing a plan of care individualized to patient cultural, religious and educational needs.
  • Participate in on-going interdisciplinary evaluation of patient/family outcomes and contribute to the improvement of care.
  • Complete mandatory education and training to maintain organization and department specific competencies and requirements.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • One-year of current acute care RN experience. Will consider military RN experience
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
  • Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN)

  • Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods of time.
  • Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
  • Requires working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
  • Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
  • Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
Personal Protective Equipment:
  • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
