Salesforce's Office of Ethical and Humane Use is hiring a Futureforce intern to play a pivotal role in the development of product, technical, and business processes guiding the responsible development of artificial intelligence and other cutting-edge technologies.ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Working together with the Director of Responsible AI & Tech and the entire Responsible AI & Tech team, they will help deliver guidance, guardrails, and features that ensure AI and other Salesforce technology is designed, developed, and delivered in alignment with Salesforce’s ethical use and responsible AI principles.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate with cross-functional partners including product teams, engineering, AI research, legal, security, UX, research & insights, customer experience, and marketing to provide oversight and support the development of high-risk AI featuresDeliver recommendations for how negative consequences might be mitigated and drive prioritization of those mitigationsInfluence how teams create model and system cards (aka nutrition labels) for generative AI models (1st- or 3rd- party)Research and make recommendations for what should be included and creation of a standardized template or a model card / system card generator (tool)Please note that while your work will involve collaborating with technical stakeholders, this is not a software development roleMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:This role is only open to those who are current or prior Salesforce interns. All others who do not meet this criteria will not be considered.Enrolled and working towards obtaining an undergraduate degree (BA/BS) in a relevant field such as but not limited to Computer Science, Data Science, Sociology, Global Studies, Informatics, Political Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or EthicsIn order to be eligible for an internship, we require that you be returning to school after the Summer 2026 program to work towards completing your degree.
