I'm currently partnered with the VP of FP&A at a high growth, multi-billion dollar manufacturer of consumer goods as they are looking to identify a Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing team! They are a leading producer of food and industrial ingredients with a long track record of success and a very strong reputation in the market. The Senior Financial Analyst will support the finance and strategic operations of an $800M+ division within the organization, directly working alongside the VP of FP&A and the Director of Accounting and Finance.
  • Develop, analyze, and interpret financial information and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
  • Generate and present regular financial reports to management, highlighting key trends, variances, and areas of opportunity or concern.
  • Create ad-hoc reports as needed for special projects or strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various departments to develop and manage the annual budgeting process.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide explanations for variances.
  • Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to support long-term planning and strategic initiatives.
  • Provide accurate and timely financial forecasts based on market trends and company performance.
  • Evaluate financial performance against key business metrics.
  • Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze the financial impact of various initiatives.
  • Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A
  • MBA preferred
  • Manufacturing or Consumer Goods industry experience preferred
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
  • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
