Construction SuperintendentOur client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on assigned projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring quality standards, maintaining project schedules, and coordinating subcontractors and field staff. This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.Responsibilities:
  • Manage on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and other key stakeholders.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, field crews, and materials.
  • Maintain jobsite safety and enforce company policies and OSHA compliance.
  • Oversee scheduling, logistics, and inspections throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Document project progress, issues, and changes using daily reports and photo documentation.
  • Conduct quality control checks and ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Facilitate utility coordination, permit compliance, and final inspections.
  • Lead punch list process and ensure all closeout documentation is completed.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a superintendent or similar field leadership role in construction.
  • Experience with public school and multifamily projects is required
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings, and documentation.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with construction software and scheduling tools is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality results.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
