Supervisory Responsibilities:This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.Position SummaryAn Assistant Operations Technician will help the Specialist/Specialized controls technicians on various work orders. The Assistant will follow the direction of their assigned technician(s) to perform and complete those work orders. They will also help with changing motors and/or setting vent limits throughout the facility, along with other duties.Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the order system to manage assigned work orders
  • Ensure assigned work orders are completed in a timely fashion
  • Troubleshoot problems in electrical control panels, sensors, and other automation hardware
  • Respond to emails and phone calls to help support throughout other greenhouse issues
  • Work with the team lead and follow duties as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned by management
Minimum Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
  • Bask hand power tool knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic electrical control circuit knowledge
  • Basic electrical hardware knowledge (relays, contractors, overloads, switches, etc.)
  • Ability to use a multimeter (volt meter, amp meter, Megger, etc.)
